Viewpoints | My Brookings, Oregon View {northern California photographer}

After participating in a landscape workshop along the Oregon coast, I extended my visit and continued south. Brookings, Oregon was my destination which is the location of Samuel Boardman State Park. Because I'd never been there before, I did a lot of exploring along this rugged coastline during the day searching for possible locations to photograph nature, sunrise, and sunset.  So typical for a landscape photographer, I was at the mercy of nature and the weather. Weather along the coast is so variable.  My time was limited so I just had to make the best of it. It wasn't difficult because this area is just so beautiful.  These images are from a couple of different evenings. The trees on the tops of the rock stacks are so appealing and unique. I never got tired of this beautiful view.
