Perspective Week 10 {northern California photographer}

My Perspective Week 10 is again all about blossoms, flowers, beautiful weather, and the near arrival of SPRING!!! And, we're seeing more sunny days than cloudy ones.

While visiting friends in southern California last week, we managed to hang out on the beach a few times and made time to visit the Flower Fields in Carlsbad. The ranunculus flowers were just beginning to put on a show. While much of the field was still dirt, yet to be planted, I'd love to go back when the entire property is covered with blooming flowers. They also had a sweet pea maze (I love sweet peas!!!) and a greenhouse full of cymbidium orchids (some of which are headlining this blog post). So, if you are a garden/flower lover like I am, you definitely should make a visit to this beautiful flower field when you are in the Carlsbad area. But, hurry.  The season is a short one.

I'm also including a couple of photographs from closer to home. Look at those beautiful rosemary bushes planted along the bank of the drainage ditch! Love those dark red lockers at the high school.
