Perspective Week 15 {northern California photographer}

Good morning, Monday!  Time for my Perspective Week 15. As promised, I have a few more food photos for you this week. There are lots of challenges with food. And, so many different styles or reasons for photographing food. I like to keep it simple and real. Imperfections are sometimes there, so there will be imperfections in the food photographs I post. I want it to look yummy, of course. I want you to feel that these are foods that you'd include in your diet or menu. Natural. Fresh. Appealing. But, with a few blemishes along the way. Keeping it REAL!

This week I tried making bread from a recipe I got from a friend. It's Artisan bread that is made in a Dutch Oven. I totally adapted the process to my liking and to the ingredients I had on hand. It still turned out very tasty.  Toasted and with a little butter or olive oil, it was sort of amazing! I'll be posting more about it later.

With more rain, I was still photographing indoors. I tried to prompt spring a bit with a bird's nest and a few cuttings from the bushes that are blooming. But, no! More rain!  I'm getting so anxious to get outdoors and get our gardens planted, both vegetable and flower. But the ground is so saturated, it's just not going to happen for awhile!
