Perspective Week 16 | northern California photographer
My Perspective Week 16 continues with a bit of food photography among other activities. I've been wanting to get out into the yard and put in our vegetable garden as well as a flower garden. But the ground has still been too wet. Of course, not too wet for weeds!!! Instead, I've been drooling over my Sunset Garden Book and Floret Farm's Cut Flower Garden book. Pinterest has been an inspiration as well.
But, since I cannot actually garden, I decided to sew myself a gardening apron. I've included a couple of images from that project.
We had an opportunity to spend some time at the beach. Because of all the rain, the flowers were amazing along the drive. Cala lilies were abundant too! Since I've never seen so many all at once before, I had to include one here. The beautiful lines created by the edges of the bloom keep me engaged and inspired to find new angles. The one I included here is pretty classic, but isn't she a beauty! Not quite symmetrical nor perfect, but stunning all the same.
Flowers always make people better, happier, and more helpful; they are sunshine, food and medicine for the soul.
