Sea Side | Serenity {northern California photographer}

My Sea Side Serenity post this month is from a visit to the beach to search out and photograph lines. I hope when you view these that you'll feel a little bit of the serenity I felt as I walked along the shoreline.

It is no secret that the ocean is my calming place. Like many of you I find being at the beach to have such a peaceful effect on me. When walking along the beach, smelling the fresh ocean air, hearing the gulls, listening to the waves as they crash and repeat their rhythm, I cannot help but take a deep breath (and more) and instantly feel myself relax. I'm ever watchful for that perfect shell that has arrived on shore, or the interesting shape the sea kelp has taken. I am at the beach completely.
