Sixteen Winners {northern California photographer}

If you had access to my hard drive, I wonder what sixteen images you would choose as the winners for 2016? Because it's a very rainy day (and I'm avoiding my to-do list),  I ended up with so many more! Then it was a process of elimination. Do I like one more than another?  So hard!!! Since I photograph still life, landscapes, and people, the genres are very different.  I chose to eliminate all portraits and focus just on the images I considered  as 'shooting for myself'. How to decide if I like a still life more than a particular landscape? Still waaaaaay hard! I was thinking this would be more fun than it was turning out to be.Ultimately, it's been interesting to see them in a grid. I have never thought of my photography work as being dark.  Yet as a group, they seem relatively dark. Can you identify the genres and elements I've been working on this year?  Night photography. 'Top-down' perspectives. Stronger mood.So, these are the sixteen I ended up with.  I'm sure if I sat down to do this tomorrow, a different sixteen winners would be selected.  But, here they are:
