White Orchids | Serenity {northern California photographer}
This month I found serenity in white orchids. Since the weather has been so wet, windy, and cold, I've spent a lot of time photographing still life and flowers. I was running low on ideas when my friend Jennifer posted an image of one of her orchids. She is the orchid whisperer!!! She has a beautiful collection of thriving orchids. I've tried before. Many times! But, sadly, my orchids have not survived my care. I decided once again to give them a try. And, of course, I had to photograph them. I love their intricacies; their delicate form. Now, if I can just develop a green thumb and she survives. Keep your fingers crossed for me... and for her!
