Shorebirds and other Marine Wildlife
About a month ago I met up with members of the Northern California Women Photographers group in Moss Landing along the California Coast. Several members took a tour along the inlet of Elkhorn Slough and it was a day to explore to find those subjects in nature that spoke to us.
California’s Foggy Forest
During the hot summer days in the Central Valley of California, there is sure to be fog along the coast. Last month along the northern California coast, Sue-Meg State Park proved to attract a bit of sun, but the redwoods of the Prairie Creek area remained a foggy forest. Fog in the trees is the great separator, revealing the layers of the forest.
Exploring Areas of North Cascades National Park | Part 1
When my friend asked if I’d like to join her and several other women photographers on a trip to North Cascades National Park, of course, I said yes. She graciously did all the planning and made all the arrangements for the stay, food, and transportation. All I (we) had to do was get ourselves there with gear and appropriate clothing. How nice is that?
