Favorite Things | northern California photographer
Have you ever thought about your favorites? It's not easy deciding (at least for me) what are truly my favorite things. Without getting too deep, I decided on a few things that just stand out to me as things I enjoy.What are your favorite things or places? Do we share some favorites? I'd love to hear about yours.
Favorite Things
Tulips
~ any color, any variety. I love their simplicity and their complexity all at the same time!
Chocolate Sunday Pudding
~ I don't make this often, but when I do I add a little vanilla ice cream just to complete the decadence of the desert. My grandmother used to make it, and I have her recipe. Grandmothers are so wise.
Exporing
~ We live in such a beautiful world! One of my favorite things is to explore it. I feel very fortunate to have the ability and opportunity to see it.
Hot Coffee or Tea
~ More often than not, it's from Starbucks in my favorite mug. Serenity. Kinda says it all.
Fresh Flowers
~ Everyday, if possible. I love fresh flowers whenever I can manage it. This little pitcher is a favorite in which to put fresh alstroemeria from my garden when it's in season. They just go together.
Morning
~ I'm very much a morning person and I love being up early before most people. It's so peaceful, and who doesn't love a gorgeous sunrise?
Macro Lens
~ From the day I got this lens, it became my absolute favorite! Not only does it allow me to get ridiculously close to shoot unnoticed detail, it is perfect for sharp images at any distance. Love it!
Beach/Ocean
~ I know many of you love the beach as much as I do. It just feeds the soul, so I go as often as I can. It's a great place to just BE.
