Fishing Boats | northern California Fine Art Photographer
We made another little 'get-out-of-the-heat' excursion to Half Moon Bay last week. After eating a delightful meal at the Italian restaurant on the wharf, we headed out with our cameras to enjoy the evening and see what we could find. With the salty smell of the coast, the sounds of the squawking gulls, and the beautiful fading light, we enjoyed a serene time exploring the docks full of fishing boats. Many of the boats were orderly and ready for the next day's work. However, some of the fishing boats looked to be retired from their duty. We greeted several other people out enjoying the evening, commenting on the beauty of it all. I don't know if they were local or on a little journey as well. Nevertheless, it was a pleasant evening in our cozy sweatshirts exploring and escaping the heat of the California Central Valley.
