Perspective | Week 21 | my garden | northern California photographer
At long last we have a garden! Actually, we have two. And, you'll be hearing about them both over the next few months along with some travel and landscape photography. My Perspective Week 21 is all about my new flower garden complete with hummingbirds! Of course, there is still a lot of work to do in the garden, but I'm thrilled that it is finally in. I planted flowers that I hope will be wonderful cut flowers for inside bouquets and also plants that will attract hummingbirds and butterflies. It's already been fun watching the behavior of these little hummers. Possessive of the garden and the feeder, I'm calling one of them "Bossy Pants" because she is keeping all the other hummers in line. AND away from the flowers and feeder if she can manage it.
Watering the garden each morning is such a great way to start the day. Here are a few images of the flowers and birds that I get to see each morning.
No occupation is so delightful to me as the culture of the earth, and no culture comparable to that of the garden.
