Project 365, 2022, Week 18 | Landscapes and Wildlife
The week began with a visit to photograph Hedge Creek Falls in Northern California.
Project 365, 2022 | Weeks 16 & 17
Weeks 16 and 17 of Project 365 were full of macro, wildlife and landscape opportunities both near my home and at Yosemite NP.
Project 365, Weeks 13, 14, & 15
Project 365, Weeks 13, 14, and 15 are combined in this post while I play ‘Catch-Up’ for posting this project. Week 13 was spent mostly at home with some time in the Northern California mountains for the Waterfalls Workshop that was presented in March. You can find out more about it in this blog post Waterfalls Workshop. Fortunately, the flowers are beginning to bloom in my garden so I have subjects readily available for some macro work.
Fine Art Landscape Mosaics of Death Valley
Intimate views of the landscape of Death Valley reveal nature-made mosaics full of color and texture. I was viewing landscape mosaics, artistic patchworks of rocks, minerals, and soil in colors that are not my idea of a typical desert scene. A desert landscape is shades of brown and tan, or so I believed. This was not Death Valley National Park as I remembered it.
